MDONS TAR WARS PROGRAM

Congratulations to Howard Brown, 2015-2016 Tar Wars poster winner, Walled Lake Consolidated School district.  We are proud of all students that entered the contest, and thank them for sharing an important health message with our community.  Tar Wars is a tobacco-free education program for students. The program is presented every November during Lung Cancer Awareness month and designed to teach kids about the consequences of tobacco use. Thank you to MDONS nurse presenters:  Denise Henderson and Deborah Olszewski for presenting the program to the 4th graders this year!  For more information and to participate in TAR WARS contact:  susan.wozniak55@gmail.com
